Lawrence J. Schultz, 55, died at St. Joseph's Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday. The cause of death was leukemia.

Mr. Schultz was born at Cottonwood on Dec. 28, 1908, and had lived at Lewiston and Clarkston for 51 years. He was a former employee of Greyhound Lines.

He attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School, Lewiston High School, and Lewiston Business College.

During World War II he worked at Hanford for DuPont Co.

He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. Mr. Schultz married Nedra Bundy on April 7, 1940, at Missoula, Mont.
