Belle Sophia Oslund, 76, a Lewiston voice and piano teacher, died at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at Orchards Nursing Home of hypertension. She had been a resident of the home since fall.

She was born Feb. 1, 1899, at Grangeville to George and Jenny Schmadeka. The family moved to Clarkston in 1907.

She married O. Albin Oslund at Clarkston July 31, 1927. The couple moved to 828 Bryden Ave. in 1957 and had lived there since.

She graduated from Clarkston High School and attended Lewiston Normal School at Lewiston. She taught voice and piano lessons.

Survivors inlcude her husband, at Orchards Nursing Home. A son born Aug. 19, 1929, died at birth.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Malcom's Lit- the Chapel of Flowers, with the Rev. James E. Farrell of the Clarkston Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at Vineland Cemetery at Clarkston.
