She was born in Lancaster county, MO., on March 19, 1863, and was married there to Samuel Gruell on September 1, 1892.
They came west to homestead in the Peola area near Clarkston in 1919. He passed away in 1925. Mrs. Gruell was a lifelong member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by her son, A. W. Gruell of Clarkston; daughter, Flossie Borgeson of Craigmont, Idaho; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
