E. D. Bolick, 78, Retired Asotin County Farmer Dies


Asotin -- Dell Bolick, 78, 402 Cleveland St.. a retired Asotin County farmer, died at 9:25 a.m. Thursday at Tri-State Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for about two weeks.

 

Bollck's wife, Ruby, preceded him in death.

 

A resident of Asotin County all of his life, Bolick was born April 11, 1894, 13 miles south of Asotin, the son of Ell and Elvina Bolick. He farmed his father's original homestead and adjoining land in the area until his retirement in 1966. He then moved to Asotin.

 

Bolick was married to Ruby Sargent, Dec. 3, 1916, in Lewiston.

 

He is survived by a son, Jack Bolick, Asotin; a brother, Russell Bolick, Hot Springs, Mont.; two sisters, Jeanette Gillis, Spokane, and Grace Bolick, Portland, Ore.; and three grandchildren.

 

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Merchant Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Farrell of the Clarkston First Christian Church officiating. Cremation will follow.

 

The family suggests that contributions be made to Tri-State Memorial Hospital, Inc.
