SERVICE SET TUESDAY FOR ALBERT BLANKINSHIP, 67

A graveside service for Albert L. Blankinship will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Vineland Cemetery at Clarkston. The Rev. Jack Trainor will officiate.
The retired farmer and mill worker died of pneumonia Thursday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at Lewiston. He was 67.
He worked for 15 years at Potlatch Corp. at Lewiston and also raised cattle and sheep along Asotin Creek.
He was born Dec. 22, 1925, at Asotin to D.E. and Anna E. Rubenser Blankinship. He attended Asotin schools.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and later returned to Asotin.
He had lived at Neva's Residential Center at Lewiston for the past two years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include three sisters, Margaret Kausche of Pomeroy, Donna Jones of Asotin and Alice Berry of Vancouver, Wash., and two brothers, Lish Blankinship and Erby Blankinship, both of Clarkston.
Three sisters and a half-brother, Joe Blankinship, died previously.
Cremation will take place.
