Greg, I didn't send you the obit for Gina Herbert since your memory card had most of the info, but I just found an article in the Greensburg Daily News which might shed some light on why your mother might have had an interest in her death.

Back in 1987 the Elks building on the north side of the Greensburg town square collapsed and fell on Gina's wedding shop, causing it, too, to collapse and Herbert's body was trapped inside for over 18 hours before being recovered by search crews. She had died instantly.

The incident was pretty big news at the time and perhaps your mother might have shopped at the store or some related connection to the Elks?

I can, of course, send you her obit should you be interested - or the newspaper article telling of the accident.
