Neeses - Emmett D. Williamson, 60, of Neeses, died Monday, November 26, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, at Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Henry Chavis and the Rev. Melvin Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be Billy Williams, James Williams, Allen Williams, Wylie Williams, Arnell Holmes and Rodney Hair. Mr. Williamson was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Rhett and Lillian Hutto Williamson. He was a retired carpenter. He attended Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a member of the Adult Sunday School class. Survivors include his wife, Vernessa Williamson, of the home; a daughter: Misty Williamson, and friend James Hancock, of Neeses; a son: Rusty and wife Lee Ann Williamson, of Neeses; two sisters: Janice Hair, of Bamberg; and Jewel (Annie) Proveaux, of Cordova; three brothers: Billy (Joe) Hutto, of North; and R.L. Williamson and James (Rock) Williamson, both of Neeses; grandchildren: Dillion, Kassidy, and Julie Williamson.
