Springfield - Cathryn Barr Hallman, 96, of Springfield, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Henry Chavis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Mrs. Hallman was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Jake and Bertha Ashe Barr. She was married to the late Bert H. Hallman. She was a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a retired nurse's aide at Orangeburg Regional Hospital. She was predeceased by two sons, Ted and John Hutto. Survivors include five grandchildren, Heyward "PeeWee" Hutto, Nancy Bell, Kathy Hutto, Roxane Richardson, and Donna Williamson; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North and other times at the home of Kathy Hutto, 938 Springfield Road, Springfield, and at the home of Donna Williamson, 13 Hollow Creek Circle, Salley. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 215 East Bay St., Suite 205-B, Charleston, SC. 29401.
