Junie M. Spears

Funeral services for Junie M. Spears, 86, of Gore, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the White Chapel Church in Gore with Revs. Cletis Jones and Wayne Rice officiating.

Burial is in White Cemetery in Gore, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.

Mrs. Spears was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Muldrow, to Pleasant Alford Mannon and Ollie Alberta (Goodman) Mannon. She died Sunday, April 16, 2006, in Vian.

Mrs. Spears attended Yellowhammer School at Braggs and has lived in Gore the past 43 years.

She married Osval "Shag" Spears, Jan. 6, 1934, in Tahlequah.

Survivors include her children, Delbert Spears of Vian, Gerald and Carol Spears of Webbers Falls, Orville and LaHoma Spears, Floyd Spears and Nola, Ricky and Jeanie Spears, Dorothy Terrell, Kathy and Floyd Johnson, Linda and John Marlow and Betty Spencer all of Gore; two brothers, George Mannon of Fresno, Calif. and Bill Mannon of Gore; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Spears of Vian; 36 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Louise and Mary Lou, a son, Don Spears and two grandchildren, Susan and Jamie Spears, and a son-in-law, Albert Terrell.

Pallbearers are her grandsons.
