Rhett Butler Eaton, 58, died Tuesday, February 23, 1999, at the North Miss Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss.

Services were held at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Mobley and Rev. Randy Owen officiating.
Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

He was a Member of Christ United Methodist Church; and the American Legion.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner.

He had served in the Army National Guard and on the Tennessee Tom Big Bee Waterway Authority Board.

Survivors include his Wife, Bettie Ford Eaton; his Mother, Ollie Lois Padgett Eaton of Booneville; 3 Daughters, Tare Kelly and Husband, Keith; Lisa Eaton; and Carne Garvin and Husband, Jeff, all of Booneville; a Son, Todd Eaton and Wife, Sherry, of Booneville; 2 Sisters, Myrtle Smith of Booneville; and Nita Craft of Jackson; 3 Brothers, Dan Eaton and D. Hoyle Eaton, both of Booneville; and Bonnard Eaton of Corinth; 6 Grandchildren; and several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Roland Flake Eaton; 2 Sisters, Sarah Hampton and Elizabeth Gann; and 3 Brothers, John K. Eaton, Howard Eaton and Howard "Hopis" Eaton.
