Funeral Held for Nellie Merkley.

TRIDELL -- Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Lenorah Bartlett Merkley, 83, were held at the Tridell Ward chapel Tuesday, October 27, at 11 a.m.

Services were conducted by Bishop Loren McKee. Prelude and postlude music was played by Toni Goodrich. Opening song, whiterocks ladies chorus.

Invocation by J. R. McKee, first speaker, H. Leroy Morrill told of her life history in his remarks, second speaker, Calvin Fletcher from Logan. Organ solo, "End of a Perfect Day," by a granddaughter, Deon Merkley; third speaker, President Archie Johnson.

Bishop Loren McKee read a poem by Charles Glines.

Closing song, by Tridell ladies chorus, "Now the Day is Over."

Benediction by Earland Ohman of Brigham City, a brother of Mrs. Clyde Merkley.

Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery. The grave was dedicated by Ashley Bartlett, a brother of the deceased. Two brothers, one sister and all of her children were present at the services.

Nellie Leonarah Bartlett was the daughter of Annie Kathrine Jensen and Charles Joseph Bartlett.

She married John Merkley July 25, 1894 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
