Kathleen, daughter of Fritz and Lillian (Allison) Schargus, was born in Live Oak, FL. She had one brother, who preceded her in death.
Kathleen Schargus was married on Sept. 30, 1935, to Harry Lee Rigney. They had no children. The Rigneys owned citrus groves south of Clermont, Lake County, FL, where they also raised and sold produce.
After a long illness, Mrs. Rigney passed from this life, having been a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Groveland, where she taught Sunday School classes and sang in the choir.
Mrs. Rigney was preceded in death by her parents and one brother and is survived by her husband, Harry, two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law and their spouses and children. She will be sadly missed.
