Mrs. Minneman was born in Jackson Township on January 7, 1881 to George W. and Laura M. Cross Powell. She was married December 2, 1905 to Herman H. Minneman, who died September 30, 1957.
She was a member of Main Street Christian Church and was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose.
Surviving are two sons: John Forrest Minneman, Bethesda, Maryland; Dalton Carroll Minneman (1923-1998), Rushville; one daughter: Mrs. Dorthy Frances Stohler, Zephyr Hills, Florida; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Three sons (William Lloyd, Russell Laverne, +1), three daughters, one brother (Dalton Russell Powell) and one sister (Ethel G. (Powell) Wilkison-Wagoner) preceded her in death.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Moster and Sons Mortuary, Rushville, the Rev. Edwin Allender officiating. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
