Suggested edit: Mrs. Elsie Stahlhut Baade, 92, died at 3 pm yesterday at the
Lutheran Convalescent Home where she had been a patient
for the past four years. Mrs. Baade formerly lived at 1006
Packard Ave. She was a lifelong member of the community, a
charter member of the Emmaus Lutheran Church and Ladies
Aid.
Surviving are two sons, Christian J. and Alfred F., both of
Fort Wayne, and one brother, August F. Stahlhut, also of Fort
Wayne.
The body was taken to the Klaehn Funeral Home where
services will be held at 11 am Friday, the Rev. Ervin L. Tapker
officiating. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 pm
today.
