Lowell Dean Hughett, Sr., 69, of Cincinnati, formerly of Elk Valley, died May 18 in Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by a son, Lowell Dean Hughett, Jr., and a sister, Lucille Adkins.
The funeral was Friday at Harp Funeral Home in Jellico with the Rev. Boone Sweeney officiating. Burial followed in Valley View Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Hughett of Cincinnati; a daughter, Jeanette Baker of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Jewell Kilborn of St. Louis and Louella Parrott and Joan Kenney, both of Cincinnati; and three brothers, Theophilus Hughett of Mitchell, Ind. and Warren Hughett and Thomas Hughett, Jr., both of Cincinnati.
