Katherine must have been born, at the latest, around 1615, in order to have a daughter by 1633 or so. Most sources agree that Katherine was the daughter of Ann Filer, wife of John Hoskins. Ann mentions both Thomas and Katherine in her will and calls Thomas "my son" and Katherine "my daughter Wilton". Apparently Ann Filer/Fyler/Flyer was married prior to her marriage to John Hoskins and brought children, Thomas and Katherine with her.

About 1632, she married David Wilton, but no record of their marriage has been found. They moved to Windsor with the first wave of settlers in 1635 or 1636. David and Katherine had only one child, a daughter, Mary.
She married second Thomas Hosmer, early founder of Hartford (his second wife)on May 6, 1679.
The date & place of her death is unknown, but she died after the death of Thomas Hosmer, who died April 12, 1687.
