Alton Dennis Holliman of Decatur, formerly of Wellington, died Tuesday, March 3, at a Richland Hills hospital after a short illness. He was 69.
Mr. Holliman was born n Rockdale and was a cotton farmer in Collingsworth County for more than 20 years, until he moved to Fort Worth in 1963 and to Decatur in 1984. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Holliman of Denton and Dennis Holliman of Fort Worth; one brother, Preston Holliman of Vernon; three sisters, Worene Kennedy of Dallas, Marie Whitley of Rockdale and Audry Hunt of Vernon; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
