V. B. Webster
Funeral service for V. B. Webster who died March. 13, at his residence after a week's critical illness, was held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at Belmont M. P. church, followed, by Interment in the church cemetery.
Rev. T. J. Whitehead, Rev. L. E Mabry, Rev. E. O. Lindley, and Dr. Fred W. Paschall were in charge of the service.
Pallbearers were: Arthur-Capps, C. P. Sharpe, Edgar York, L. F. Brockman, Lewie Martin, and John Andrews.
Music was furnished by the church choir with, special duet by Paul E. Cobb arid Mrs. Floyd Rogers of Burlington. Special selections were also rendered by the Central quartette composed of Glen Coble, C. F. Clapp, Shrewd Durham and Wade Fogleman.
Mrs. Carl Curtis was in charge of flowers, which were carried by Madames Clay Holt, C. D. Boone, L. E. Martin, W. A. Johnson, J. Worth Rich, Elsie Kimbrow, Mary Howard, Alma Brown, O. P. Hodge, J. W. Lawrence, Elizabeth Flynn, Maud Williams. D. H. Murray, Charles Sharpe. Cora Hargis, R. L. McPherson and A. P. Steele; Misses Bertha Foushee, Beatrice Foushee, Moselle Johnson, Lorainne Lindley, Louise Frazier. Loray Johnson, Dorothy Hargis. Margaret Harden, Ruth McPherson, Freddie Sharpe and Clue Matadamy.
