His first wife was Hannah Eliza Thayer Jencks, married Aug 24,1817 at Bellingham,MA. His second wife was Uraniah Thayer Jencks, married Apr 4,1821 at Mendon,MA. His third wife was Alice Thompson Thayer Jencks, married Dec 16,1824 at Mendon,MA. The last two were sisters, and daughters of Henry Thayer and Uraniah Thompson Thayer.

His fourth wife was Anna Eliza Smith Jencks, whom he married Mar 20,1827 at Smithfield,RI.

He was the only son of Gen.Charles Jencks and Rachel Benson Jencks. His parents separated. His father married Martha Mowry and had several children by her. His mother married Jesse Albee and had several children by him. I could find nothing on where Gen.Charles, Rachel, or any other step-siblings or step-parents were buried. But Gen.Charles Jencks removed to Warehouse Point, Hartford Co.,CT. Rachel and Jesse Albee remained in Mendon.

Children(by second marriage): Rufus Aldrich Jencks.

Children(by fourth marriage): Hannah Eliza Jencks Smith, Charles Henry Jencks(father of Henry Benson Jencks), and Anna Maria Jencks Wheaton.

Gravesite Details

There is also a stone for him in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Millville, which says he died in Grafton and "He is There Interred". A Separate memorial is located HERE.
