Clara died in Essex Junction, Chittenden, Vermont. Her death record indicates that she was born in Surrey, N. H. Her father was David Allen. Her mother was Caroline Reed.

Obituary

Mrs. Clara Fielder, aged 55 years, died Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Shanley, where she has been cared for during her illness. Death was due to anemia and she had been confined to bed for about two weeks.

Her maiden name was Clara Allen and with her parents she came to South Burlington from Wisconsin when she was a child.

She was twice married, her first husband being Stephen Humphrey and the second John Fielder.

Mr. Fielder was killed nine years ago by falling from the roof of a house which he was shingling. Mrs. Fielders had lived in the village about three years.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock at the Baptist Church of which she was a member and burial was in South Burlington.
