He attended Maud schools.
He worked at Shawnee Mall untill his retirement.
On June 26, 1970 he married Clydene Rainey at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee.
Survivors include his wife, Clydene Brooks, of the home;daughter,Brandy Brooks of the home,son and daughter-n-law,James Lee and Timberly Brooks of Shawnee; three brothers and sister-n-law,Forrest "Leroy" and Pat Brooks of California; Don and Betty Brooks of Maud and Leon and Roberta Brooks of Seminole; sister and brother-n-law, Carol and Jimmy Johnson of Maud;and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with the Rev. Ellis Rolette officiating. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetry.
Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
