Simon married Francis Maria Nathman 6 Feb 1873 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Maryville, Missouri. She is the daughter of Bernard Nathman and Maria Gerding

Death of S.W. Weber. The family of S.W. Weber, father of Mrs. Ferd Meyer was brought to Norman from Kansas on thursday night accompanied by his son Joe, and the funeral was held from St. Joseph's Catholic Church Friday morning, with internment in Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Weber was a former resident here but has been making his home in Kansas City since the death of his wife. He was an estimable gentleman and good citizen and many friends regret his demise.
