Delos Ellsworth Day, Jr., was the son of Delos Ellsworth Day, Sr. and Laura Hazel Denby. He married Margaret Viola Melling on August 28, 1959 in Mulliken, MI. They had two children. Delos Junior passed away at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac at the age of 63. He owned and operated a salvqage yard in Marion for many years which he enjoyed and also being with his family and visiting friends. He was preceded in death of his parents and a brother, Roger.
Funeral services were held November 21, 2000 at the Fosnaught Funeral Home in Marion with burial to take place at a later date in Winterfield Township Cemetery.
