Varney Clark Clutter was the son of David and Virginia A. " Jennie" (Smith) Clutter. He was an employee of Atlas Drop Forge in Lansing, MI as an inspector. He married Lucille Emily Denby in Williamston, Ingham Co., MI on February 1, 1930. Varney and Lucille had two daughters together. Varney passed away at Eaton Rapids Community Hospital in Eaton Rapids, Michigan at the age of 63.
