Clara Miller,66, of Irving died Wednesday, July 10, at 11:10 at her home. According to Montgomery county coroner, cause of death was due to electrocution from a fence at her home. There will be no inquest.
She was born on March 3, 1919 in Litchfield, the daughter of John Adam and Lillie Gerta Schmidt Lansing. She married Howard Virgil Oller on Feb. 6,1939, in St. Charles, mo. he died May 10, 1964.She then married Floyd Miller in St. Louis on Dec. 4,1965. He preceded her in Dec. 13,1971.
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro. VFW Ladies Auxiliary # 1306 of Taylor Springs; and Montgomery County Senior Citizens. She worked as a meat wrapper at Krey Meat Packing in ST. Louis,Mo. for many years. She moved to Irving in 1968.
Surviving are three sister, Minnie Milier Kerr, of Salem, Ark. Selena Vancil, of Litchfield,Il; and Ageline Bellovich of Granite City,Il; Three brothers, Russell of San MillValley, Calif.,Robert of Dellwood,Mo. and John of Caseyville,Il. Six brothers preceded her in death.
Services will be Sat. ,July 13,at Patton Memorial Home, Hillsboro,Il. Rev. George Morelock will officiate.
Burial will be in Irving Cemetery,Irving,Il.
