ANNIE J. HOLT BECKSTEAD

South Jordan - Mrs. Annie Jane Holt Beckstead, 80, died at her residence here Sunday at 1 p.m. after a three-weeks' illness.
She was the mother of Midvale Mayor Henry Beckstead.
A daughter of Edward David and Emma Billings Holt, she was born Aug. 26, 1870, in Salt Lake City. For the past 75 years she had been a resident of South Jordan.
On Nov. 18, 1889, she was married to Byron H. Beckstead in the Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Beckstead died Oct. 31, 1946.
Surviving are six sons: Mayor Beckstead and Reed H. Beckstead, Midvale; Royal V. Beckstead, South Jordan; Edward B. and Leonard C. Beckstead, Riverton; Cloyd H. Beckstead, Kirtland, N. M.; two daughters, Mrs. Olive G. Chamberlain and Mrs. Fern R. Holt, South Jordan; 31 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, William B. and Jesse H. Holt, Salt Lake City.
