Anna Marie Huffman, 80, of Portsmouth, died Monday, March 19, 2001, at her residence. Born August 16, 1920, in Portsmouth a daughter of the late Henry A. Davis and Mary Jane Liston Davis. She was a retired employee of the Marting Department Store, a long time active member of Manly United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orin D. Huffman, March 11, 1987, two brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Cindy Huffman of Newark; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Danny Bauer of Hilliard; grandchildren, Mary Beth Roose, Alissa Bauer, Brett Bauer, Kendra Gerlach and Corbin Huffman; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Roose; and a sister, Edith Beckner.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at F.C. Daehler Mortuary in Portsmouth, with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Ohio or the American Cancer Society.
