Daughter of Asa Pashal and Susan Mary "Polly" (Coyle) Beall. Wife of James Morris Rogers, m. Apr 1, 1846 in Kickapoo, IL.

Harriet Beal was born in Indiana Sept. 26, 1827, and died in Wyoming April 4, 1903. She came with her parents to Illinois in 1832, at the age of five, settling near Mossville, Ill. From there the family moved to Kickapoo, Ill. In 1835. She was united in marriage with James M. Rogers April 1, 1846. Later they removed to Stark County and lived on a farm two and a half miles east of Wyoming where they resided until 1873, when they came to this city to make their home.
At the age of 15 she was converted and united with the M. E. Church and remained a faithful and consistent member of the same until her death. Her’s was a rare character of grace and loveliness, one worthy of emulation. Entire unselfishness marked her life, such as endeared her to all.
The funeral services were conducted from her late residence on Monday, April 6th by her pastor, Rev. J. Pressly McCormick. The remains were laid away in Wyoming Cemetery.
