Headstone dates are incorrect. According to the edition of
The Parsons Sun(10 Jan 1940) of Parsons, Kansas George died at his
daiughters, Gertrude Middleton, in Imperial, Chase Co., Nebraska
on the 09 Jan 1940.
Birthdate from 1900 census gives Dec 1857, however from
all censuses it appears to me to probably be 1858.
