He was an inspector 40 years at Babcock and Wilcox Co. and was retired one and one half years.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Council No. 4028, Polish Roman Catholic Union of America and National Alliance of Poles.

Survived by wife, Henrietta; son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Felicia of San Antonio, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and James H. Smith of Stow, Patricia and Paul C. Adlaf of Park Ridge, IL, Diane and John H. Andrews of Fayetteville, NC; 5 granchildren; brothers, Edward and Walter both of Barberton; sisters, Mrs. Nellie Mushinski, Mrs. Clara Guysick, Mrs. Dorothy Alexander, Mrs. Eleanor Matozel, all of Barberton and Mrs. Delores Steiert, Mayfield KY.

Henrietta & Leo lived next door to my mom when I was growing up. I always called them aunt and uncle even though we weren't related because they seemed like family.
