David K. Dean






David K. Dean, 51, of rural Parsons, died at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2008 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. He died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident on July 9th.
He was born May 28, 1957 at Parsons where he grew up and attended school. He worked as a welder for several years in the Back Shops of the Railroads in Parsons. He also worked various construction jobs and at Precision Products. He was currently employed at the Parsons Golf Club. He enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Survivors include one son, Brent, of the home; One brother, Eric Barnes of Parsons; Two sisters, Janice Dodson of Arkansas and Holly Kinnamon of Parsons.

He was preceded in death by his mother, May Barnes and his grandmother, Winifred Grace Griggs.

Following cremation, funeral services will be held at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2008. The family will receive friends at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m., Tuesday to sign the register book.
