Margaret W. Rockwood, 88, Terre Haute, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, in Davis Gardens Health Center, Terre Haute.
She was born March 7, 1914, in Sullivan County to Elza and Lillie N. Cleveland Wells. She was a graduate of the Union Hospital School of Nursing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rockwood, who died in 1977; her parents; one grandson; and one sister, Phyllis Davis.
Survivors include one son, Richard J. Rockwood, Vacaville, Calif.; three daughters, Barbara Kulich, Mesa, Ariz., Carol Rockwood and Linda Rockwood, both of Terre Haute; one half sister, Rosemary Burnett, Shelburn; six grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and several other relatives.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home, Terre Haute. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
