She was born to Garrel "Brig" and Beulah Beatrice (Highley) Snider. In 1951, she married Robert F. Gagle, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tim (Joanna), Mt. Sterling, KY, and Don (Nancy), Bloomington, IN; a daughter, Patti (Larry) Sparks, Bloomington; a sister-in-law, Gloria Thompson Snider, Gahanna; five grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased is a brother, Rex E. Snider.
She was employed at Logan's University Bookstore, Chapman's Jewelry, Athens Memory Dorothy Gardens and operated Gagle's Grocery Store near Stround's Run State Park, all in Athens. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women and the Emblem Club, all in Athens. She was a former president of the Athens Bowling League and served as district director of Ohio. She was a 1947 graduate of Celina High School.
