Theodore Earl Selvage was born July 24, 1901, in Blue Rapids, Kan., and passed away in Pueblo, Jan. 29,1986, at the age of 84. Husband of Margaret Selvage of the family home. Father of LeRoy (Alice) Selvage and Bernadine (Richard) Perko of Pueblo; Virginia Shepherd of San Diego, Calif.; Courtland (Beverly) Selvage of Newbury Park, Calif., and Avon (James) Young of Bellview, Wash. Brother of Vera Vineyard of San Diego, Calif. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother and father, William M. and Lavisa Tranqulla Rains Selvage. He was an inspector for American Refrigerator Transit Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1958. Services at 1 p.m. Friday in Rose Chapel, T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home with interment in Mountain View Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association through the funeral home. Please omit flowers and food. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to time of services on Friday.
