George Samuel Eriksson was born at home in Clearfield on August 28, 1941, to Erik Teadore and Mary Hadfield Eriksson. He was the third of three children. He married Lelia Raylene Chamberlain for time and all eternity on November 8, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. This union was blessed with two beautiful daughters.
George served his country proudly and diligently during the Vietnam Conflict from 1966 to 1968. He was very proud to be a U.S. Marine rifleman and fought for the "Title of Liberty", to protect his family and country.
George worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base, and the Clearfield Fire Department.
George is survived by his wife Lelia Raylene, two daughters,four grandchildren, his brother, and sister.
George was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister June Eriksson.
