Mrs. Elizabeth Prescott Laid to Rest After Rites in Amite
MAGNOLIA, Nov. 13 (Special) The funeral service of Mrs. Elizabeth Prescott, 75, widow of W. P. Prescott, was conducted at the old farm home of the family, nine miles west of Magnolia in Amite County, by the Revs. S. A. Williams, Osyka; J. R. Carter and T. W. Green, Magnolia in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends and the body laid to rest in the family cemetery there. Mrs. Prescott's husband died several years ago and she is survived by four sons and five daughters. The sons are: W. L., E. C., and W. R. Prescott, of Magnolia; and John Y. Prescott, of Magnolia. The daughters are: Mrs. V. A. McDaniel and Mrs. A. A. Fairley, of Osyka; Mrs. Clarence Cook, of Amite county; Mrs. Hastings Fendlason, of Norfield; and Mrs. C. J. Roberts, of Jackson.
