She was born at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. She grew up in her paternal Grandparents home at 2854 Potter Street until 1937 when the family moved to a new home at 1802 Locust Street. She remained at the Locust St. location until she graduated from North High School in 1949.

Services for Geraldine "Jari" Alice Anderson, 55 of 3129 Willowwood Drive, Bettendorf, were held September 18 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Burial was in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson died at her home.

Mrs. Anderson was an R.N. at the Davenport Medical Center. Geraldine Alice Raymond married Donald Albin Anderson on February 23, 1957 at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. He preceded her in death. She received her nursing degree from Scott Community College.
