MIDDLETOWN — Edelene Clair (King) Crabtree, 76, resident of Middletown, passed away July 17, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown.

She was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Jamestown, Tenn., the daughter of Obie L. and Roxie L. Crabtree King. She was a homemaker her entire life.

She attended the Maple Grove Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Bobby James Crabtree of Middletown; two daughters, Sheila (David) Jones of Richmond and Patty Crabtree of Middletown; and three brothers, Jerry (Julia) King of Muncie, David (Joanne) King of California and Bob (Carolyn) King of Yorktown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and a brother.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown. Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Association or the Epilepsy Foundation.
