Catherine "Kate" Adams, 90, of Midland passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007, in Granbury.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Golf Course Road Church of Christ in Midland with Don Mitchell officiating. Burial: Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland.
Catherine was born Sept. 9, 1916, in Corsicana to Charlie and Emily Fitzgerald. She married Clarence "C.E." Adams on March 30, 1935. He preceded her in death February 2002. Catherine was a charter member of Westside Church of Christ. She was a homemaker who spent her life raising and loving her family and grandkids. She loved to travel and play games.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Gene Skelton of Granbury; son and daughter-in-law, Otis and Ann Adams of Midland; son and daughter-in-law, James and Barbara Adams of Arlington; grandchildren, Brian Skelton, Lori and Sid Saunders, Jason and Jennifer Skelton, Anda and Randy Brown, Jennifer and Gary Webb and Melissa and Ben Nicholson; and nephew, Howard and Elaine Johnson of Fort Davis.
