William C. Tucker, age 74, died at the Dalton hospital Thursday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock.
Surviving him besides his wife, Mrs. Mattie (Langley) Tucker, are four sons, Charlie and Marion Tucker, of Henegar, AL; Martin Tucker, of Calhoun, GA and Herman Tucker, of Ringgold, GA; five daughters, Mrs. Viola Allan, of Roanoke, VA; Mrs. Leota Yother and Mrs. Elizabeth Bowman, both of Dalton, GA; Mrs. Mae Bagwell, of Calhoun, GA and Mrs. Luttie Schricker, of Chattanooga, TN; three brothers, Joe and Branch Tucker, of Spring Place, GA and John Tucker, of Dalton, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Bogle Brindle, of Dalton, GA; Mrs. J.S. Rogers, of Sugar Valley, GA and Mrs. J.D. Sanders, of Spring Place, GA. Thirty-five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service were held from the Corinth Baptist church, near Resaca, GA, Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock, with the Rev. J.L. Clegg and Rev. S.P. Chitwood officiating.
Burial was made in the local cemetery with Kenemer Brothers in charge.
