Pateros – Myrtle M. Brownlee, 88, Pateros, a longtime Okanogan County resident, died Tuesday, Oct 25, 1988, in Harmony House, Brewster.

She was born Nov. 25, 1899, at Percival, Iowa, to Greenberry and Grace Acord. They moved to Brewster in 1905 where she attended school. She married Siegal Brownlee June 21, 1918, and they farmed in Okanogan County until 1951 when they moved to Stanwood. They returned to Pateros in 1973.

Mrs. Brownlee was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pateros.

Survivors include four grandsons, Michael Brownlee, Monroe, La., Brian Brownlee, New York City, Gary Brownlee, Missoula, Mont., and Matthew Brownlee, Burke, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and nine brothers and sisters.

Barnes Chapel, Brewster, is in charge of arrangements.
