EDWARD D GOSSETT IS GENTLY LAID AT REST
Sonora Office Stockton Record, May 12 - The remains of Edward D Gossett, whose death occurred suddenly at Tuolumne on May 7th, were deposited in a grave in Odd Fellows cemetery in this city Saturday afternoon, in the presence of scores of sorrowing friends. The funeral ceremonies were conducted by Pie Tree Lodge IOOF of Tuolumne.
Profound sorrow is felt in every community in the county at the passing of Ed Gossett, for he was a likable fellow and a loyal, faithful friend. Only 44 years of age at the time of his death, he was in robust health until a few days before his life ended. He was a victim of influenza.
