A Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine Warwick, 66, was held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Stanley Allie, Father Anthony Patalona, Father Ernest Muellerleile and Father Art Lopilato officiating. Pallbearers were Paul Kemp, Larry Kaniut, Tom Schilke, Al Gillis, Kenneth R. Hardy and Kenneth J. Hardy. Mrs. Warwick died Dec. 19 from injuries sustained in a hit and run accident on DeArmoun Road.
Born July 2, 1920, in Denver, Colo., she had lived in Alaska the past 17 years and was retired from the Alaska Department of Labor. She had volunteered at the Conflict Resolution Center, assisted at the O.A.T.S. Senior Transportation office and had been a director of the Country School, a local day care center. She had been a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and had enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Most recently, she had been devoted to raising her grandsons since their mother's death.
She leaves her sister, Helen Parlett of Denver, Colo.; and her grandsons, Chris and Derek Snyder, both of Anchorage. Memorials are suggested to the Snyder Educational Trust Fund, P.O. Box 100011, Anchorage, 995100011, or to Catholic Charities, 225 Cordova Street, Bldg. B, Anchorage, 99501. Burial was in the spring at Angelus Memorial Park. Service arrangements by Witzleben Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Bragaw Chapel.
