Family legend tells us that Nancy's sister, Sarah, went to live at Julius' house to care for the two children. On December 30, 1873, Sarah and Julius were married. Their children were Mattie Adrian (Cricket) Boger, born May 9, 1874; two more daughters followed; Cora Lee, born January 1877 and Sally Ann Boger was born March 7, 1880. The children from both marriages were born in Lawrence County Alabama.
Julius Boger was a Private in Company B Roddey's 4th Alabama Cavalry CSA.
