Donna Jean Meadows, 41, Pateros, died Thursday afternoon at her home.
She was born Donna Jean Dempsey, Feb. 24, 1936, in Casper, Wyo. In 1954 she graduated from Bridgeport High School. She married William Meadows Dec. 26, 1955, in Bridgeport. They moved to Pateros in 1959.
Mrs. Meadows was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Alta Rebekah Lodge, and was active in the Camp Fire Girls.
Surviving are her husband, a son, Richard, and a daughter, Colleen, all at home, two nieces, Cheryl Craig, Wenatchee and Nancy Chapman, Spokane; whom she raised; her father, George Dempsey, Sandpoint, Idaho; a brother, Bob Dempsey, Wenatchee.
Services were held Saturday, November 19 at 11 am from the United Methodist Church, Pateros with the Rev. Dennis Magnuson officiating. Friends wishing may make memorials to the Cancer Fund. Barnes Funeral Chapel, Brewster was in charge of arrangements.
