PERRYVILLE - Carrie Mae Johnson Burger, 89, of Danville died Wednesday at her residence. She was the widow of Ray Samuel Burger.

Born May 30, 1919, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Jim Matt and Anna Belle Ferrille Johnson. She was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church and had been a 26-year employee of Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jim Burger; and a daughter, Shirley Rae Burger.

Survivors include two daughters, Shelby (Ron) Moroni of Danville and Edna (Harold) Jones of Perryville; two sons, Glen (Linda) Burger of Danville and Darrell (Kevin Ritchie) Burger of Georgetown. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Revs. J.R. Fields and Stanley Young, with burial in Parksville Cemetery.
