Rites Held Monday For Mrs. Frank Bares

Mrs. Frank Bares, 73, St. Paul, died Thursday in Bethesda Hospital, St. Paul. Mary Waytashek was born June 29, 1889, in Gemrany, and came to Agram township as a child. She married Frank Bares May 7, 1912 and lived in Agram township until 1944 when they moved to Pierz. In June, 1958, they moved to St. Paul. She was a member of the Christian Mothers.

Surviving her are her husband, a son Alfred, Zumbrota; two daughters, Clarabelle and Mrs. Dean (Kathleen) Bennett, St. Paul; and the following brothers and sisters: Vincent and Anthony Waytashek, Mrs. John Voltin and Mrs. Joseph Kurtz, Pierz; Henry Waytashek, Lastrup, Engelbert Waytashek, Brainerd; Joseph Waytashek, California and Mrs. Art Lasanski, St. Paul. There are seven grandchildren.

Funeral services, with Requiem High Mass, were held Monday, at 11:15 a.m., in St. Joseph's Church, Pierz, and burial was in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clarence Merkling, Ed Poser, Donald Wuellner, Arvin Litke, Jerome Waytashek, and Ardell Waytashek. Honorary pallbearers were the Msdms. Christ Tembreull, George Merkling, Frank Merkling, Anna Rauch, Ed Stumpf, and Math Faust.
