Audrey Morris, 99, of Canyon died Friday, July 11, 2008.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Debra Huffman, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery.

Audrey Morris was born April 15, 1909, in Donley County to Bert and Julia Meador Ayers. Audrey graduated from Hedley High School. She married Emory Morris, and he preceded her in death. Later in life, she married Ernest Eades, and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She moved to Phoenix from Oklahoma City in 1955, and then moved to Canyon in 1995. Audrey was a member of First Christian Church. She was a manager for the C.R. Anthony Co. for more than 50 years.

Survivors include four nephews, Ric Wester of Amarillo, Cliff Stogner of Lubbock, Herald Stogner of Prescott, Ariz., and Dale Ayers of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three nieces, Jeanette Green, Marie Gardner and Marilyn Swindell, all of Amarillo.
