She was born Aug. 8, 1912, in Tully, N.Y., to Courtland C. and Martha L. (Longmire) Porter. She received her early education in Tully and Yakima.
She married John F. Weller on Sept. 19, 1934, in Yakima. They lived in Yakima until 1942, when he entered the Armed Forces. She followed him to Sacramento, Calif., Madison, Wis., Chicago, Ill., St. Louis Mo., Biloxi, Miss., and Wichita Falls, Texas. They moved to Mansfield in February of 1946.
Mrs. Weller worked for Kress Co. and the Bon Marche for many years. She also worked for John Andrews in his grocery store in Mansfield. She was a member of the Yakima Christian Church, Mansfield Sunshine Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, at the home; a daughter, Narda Yale, Lacey; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
