The only son of HENRY & ELIZABETH BOTSFORD, he was baptized by Rev. Peter Prudden on August 15, 1641. On Dec. 12, 1664, he married Elizabeth Fletcher. His second wife was my ancestor, HANNAH BALDWIN, daughter of TIMOTHY & MARY (WELLS) BALDWIN, having been married in 1667.

He became a freeman in Milford in October, 1669. On May 1, 1672, Elnathan "Bochford" and Silvanus Baldwin presented an agreement on the boundaries between New Haven & Milford to the court. The agreement on the boundaries was signed by John Nash and JOHN COOPER from New Haven: and from Milford: ELNATHAN BOCHFORD and Silvanus Baldwin.
